Local rules, not generic advice

A nursing, dental, trade or social-service career can have different regulators and qualification routes across Canada. TalentAid treats those differences as core data.

Evidence before explanation

We prioritize regulators, governments, apprenticeship authorities, Job Bank and official education sources. Missing local facts stay missing until they can be verified.

Independent career guidance

TalentAid is not a staffing agency or regulator. Advertising and commercial partnerships are kept separate from verified wages, licensing rules and pathway logic.

The problem

Career information is fragmented.

A person considering a career may need to understand a national occupational code, a provincial regulator, a specific education credential, an apprenticeship authority, a certification exam, labour-market wages and whether any local program actually delivers the required training.

Those answers often live on different websites, use different terminology and change independently. Search results can also blur the difference between a related program and a program that actually qualifies someone for practice.

The TalentAid approach

Turn the system into a pathway.

TalentAid organizes those moving parts into a route: starting point → education or apprenticeship → registration or certification → career destination. The site then layers verified wages, outlook and programs around that route.

Career GPS and Career Advisor help users navigate the structured data, but they are not allowed to turn an unverified guess into a local licensing fact.
